Wednesday Link Party: Hipster sculptures, elderly style, museum eye candy and presidential shorts
It's hump day! After a downer start to the week, my spirits are lifted after a lunch time trip to Dress for Success Tampa Bay, where I've signed up to be a volunteer personal shopper for the ladies who come there seeking help for job interview attire. It has changed the whole outlook for the day, and now I want to share the good juju with you, fair readers.
With that, here are some fun links to make you smile.
Denim does it: Classical sculptures dressed as hipsters look completely rad. You try looking that swaggy in your concert baby doll tee.
Dressing your age: Not these women. If you have a a little time, check out this documentary on some women aging beautifully, in combat boots and neon yellow, without Botox.
One of everything, please: Enjoy this eye candy slideshow from the "Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore!" exhibition in London. I'm not sold on the shoes with the toe pockets, but maybe for the right occassion?
First lady fashion foul: Even Michelle Obama has sartorial regrets -- specifically, that time she wore shorts on Air Force One, she tells 106 and Park.
Seen any other good links floating around today? Do share! Let's all get in on the positivity Kool-Aid.
