Your Outfit Monday: Back to school blues
We have another exciting reader outfit submission on this glorious Labor Day! Meet Quincey Upshaw (AMAZING SUPERHERO NAME), who went back to teaching last week at USF. Here's what she wore:
It's back to school this week for the students and teachers at USF! I'm an adjunct with the first year composition program at USF, and I occasionally so some beauty blogging at XOVain.com. My look today is a dress in my fave multi-season color: peacock blue! I scored it at JCPenney on the sale rack along with some other deals. That place is really stepping up its game and I am thrilled to reap the cheap rewards. My shoes are Born; I got them at Dillard's on sale this summer, and the classic pearl accessories are both a nod to "teacher-ness" and my June birthday. They weren't cheap, but if we factor in price-per-wear the cost goes down considerably. Last, I'm rocking a pink lip from Lancôme, as those ladies know how to throw together a gift-with-purchase.
Take care and have a lovely day! Maybe someday you can teach me how to wear animal prints without looking like a Halloween costume version of a 70s pimp. I just can't seem to rock an animal print!
Thanks, Quincey! You may have just inspired our next how-to post, though I happen to think everyone can pull off a little leopard. Hope everyone is enjoying the day off! And don't forget to send us your outfit pictures. We need a break from our mirror selfies every now and then and we know you're out there looking good.
