Gators move to No. 4 in AP poll

GAINESVILLE - Michigan's loss was Florida's gain.

The Wolverines' loss to Appalachian State helped the Gators leap two spots to No. 4 in this week's Associated Press poll. Michigan, which was a preseason No. 1, fell out of the poll - the largest drop in poll history.

USC remained No. 1, followed by LSU and West Virginia. Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Texas, Louisville, Virginia Tech and California round out the top 10.
