Tebow maintains lead in Scripps Heisman Poll
Tim Tebow remained his first place standing in the weekly Scripps Howard Heisman Trophy poll, but the other contenders are hot on his heels, including Arkansas running back Darren McFadden who gained on Tebow after his big-time performance in the Razorbacks' win over then-No. 1 LSU.
After leading Florida to a 45-12 win over Florida State, Tebow earned six of 10 first-place votes. But his lead over McFadden is njust eight points.
