Florida's Harvin says he'll be ready to play on Jan. 8
Junior WR/RB Percy Harvin said Sunday night he'll be ready to play when the Gators face Oklahoma in the BCS National Championship game on Jan. 8.
Harvin suffered a high ankle sprain in the Florida State game, and did not play in last Saturday's SEC Championship. Harvin and UF coach Urban Meyer said he'll follow a detailed plan of treatment during the month leading up to the game.
"I’ll go to practice like I normally do, just a little more treatment and that’s pretty much it,'' Harvin said. "The doctor said I should be albe to run, if not by the end of this week, next week.''
