Injuries continue to mount; Maurkice Pouncey has surgery

It's the latest in a series of injuries that have plagued the Gators all spring. And it's not the only one this week.

"Janoris (Jenkins) is going to have surgery on the top part of his finger, it’s real minor obviously, but he’s going to miss the rest of the spring,'' Meyer said. "Carlos Dunlap and (Lawrence) Marsh have abdominal (injuries). For sure, Marsh is going to have surgery, Dunlap might.''

About a dozen UF players have missed all or part of spring drills, prompting Meyer to question what kind of spring game the Gators will conduct.

"I don’t know how we’re going to have a spring game,'' Meyer said. "I’ve got some work to do this week to figure out what’s best for our team.''
