Florida baseball team rallies in ninth to earn win over Bethune-Cookman in NCAA regional; will face Miami today
Florida senior reserve catcher Teddy Foster hit a game-winning, two-run single to give the Gators and 8-7 win over Bethune-Cookman in the opening game of the NCAA regional at McKethan Stadium Friday night.
Bethune-Cookman took an early 4-0 lead and Florida, which is the top seed in the regional, remained down 6-3 in the bottom of the eighth. The Gators scored three runs in the ninth inning.
Florida (40-20) will play Miami today at 6:30 p.m. The Hurricanes defeated Jacksonville University 9-4 on Friday.
Today's game between Miami and Florida will be televised live on Sun Sports.
