Alabama running back chooses Tide
Opelika four-star running back Corey Grant announced on Thursday he will attend Alabama, choosing the Tide over Florida and Auburn.
"There wasn't a second place team - I just had an overall winner," Grant told BamaOnline.com. "Alabama wants to use me as a space guy and as a kick returner. They really want to use me in a variety of ways but the main thing is to get me out in space and use my speed. I told coach Saban (Wednesday) that I was coming to Alabama. He was ecstatic with my decision. He really can't wait for me to get to Alabama and help them win championships."
Rivals.com lists Grant as the No. 11 running back in the nation.
