Florida 2010 recruit Stephen Alli makes surprise decision to enroll early
Instead of getting ready for his senior year of high school, Andover, New Hampshire receiver Stephen Alli is expected to enroll at Florida today and could join the team for Thursday's first practice.
Alli, a 6-foot-5 recruit from Proctor Academy, said he began pondering the decision to skip his senior year back in June, and ultimately decided it was the right thing to do - even if he doesn't get a chance to play this season.
Alli wasn't ranked by recruiting services, and was discovered late in the recruiting game by college coaches. He chose UF over Harvard, where he planned to study medicne. He is originally from Toronto, but attends boarding school in New Hampshire. He had just 13 receptions last season, but seven were for touchdowns. He's tall and runs the 40 in 4.4.
Here's what Alli told Mark Wheeler of GatorBait.net.
