Tebow, Meyer contemplate final year together

Florida coach Urban Meyer spent some time this summer pondering his final months as the head coach of Tim Tebow.

"I made a couple of comments in the summer when I said, 'Hey, I've got this cat for four more months and I'm going to cherish every moment.' There wasn't a day (went) by that I didn't talk to him, even if I was on vacation somewhere and he was somewhere. So I am going to cherish him,'' Meyer said.

Tebow said he's looking forward to running out of the tunnel on to Florida Field seven more times for home games. He'll be down to six after Saturday's season opener with Charleston Southern.

"I've thought about it a lot, that's for sure,'' Tebow said of his career winding down.
