Florida CB Moses Jenkins will miss Saturday's game still recovering from concussion

Reserve CB and return team gunner Moses Jenkins will not play in Saturday's game against LSU due to a concussion he suffered in the Kentucky game.

Jenkins has been undergoing the same baseline testing that UF quarterback Tim Tebow has been taking to determine when he is ready to return to the practice field. Tebow was cleared for limited practice this week, but Jenkins is "still behind Tim'' UF coach Urban Meyer said. Meyer called Jenkins is a "valuable member'' of the special teams unit.

"Moses Jenkins is not going to play,'' Meyer said. "He didn't practice. I'm in charge of the kicking unit and we've got a problem because he's a heck of a player. I think he might have been special teams player of the week against Kentucky, he had four tackles on kickoff, and we're facing (LSU's) Trindon Holliday.''
