Gator defense in bad shape heading into Mississippi State game
Florida could be without four or five key defensive players when the Gators play at Mississipi State this weekend.
The Gator defense is ailing this week as Florida prepares to play at Mississippi State.
Senior LB Brandon Spikes (groin) and DE Jermaine Cunningham are both probable for Saturday's game while DT Lawrence Marsh (ankle) and DT Jaye Howard (ankle) are questionable.
Marsh has been trying to recover from an ankle injury since preseason, and has played sparingly in just two games. DE Justin Trattou is doubtful with a shoulder injury he suffered in the Arkansas game.
"We've got a little depth issue right now,'' Meyer said. "Sometimes you think you've got enough and that's never the case.''
