Gator running back Jeff Demps has sprained neck
Florida running back Jeff Demps suffered a sprained neck in Saturday's win over Mississippi State, but is probable for this weekend's game against Georgia. Demps was in a neck brace following the game.
"Jeff Demps has a sprained neck, which should be fine,'' UF coach Urban Meyer said Sunday morning. "I saw it on film and he got it a little twisted, but he should be fine by Tuesday or Wednesday, I’m told.''
Florida DT Brandon Antwine reinjured his shoulder, and will undergo further evaluation this week.
"But the positive is I think we should get some defensive lineman and Brandon Spikes back,'' Meyer said.
