Florida guards Erving Walker and Kenny Boynton, and sophomore forward Ray Shipman all earned postseason SEC honors, announced on Tuesday.

Shipman earned the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year award. He currently has a 3.45 grade-point average in Sports Management.

Walker was named a second team All-SEC selection and Boynton was named to the All-Freshman team. It is the third consecutive season Florida has had a member of the all-freshman team.

The Gators have had at least one first or second team All-SEC player for 11th consecutive seasons. It is the second league postseason honor of Walker's career; he was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team last season.Walker is the second-leading scorer with 12.6 points, and also has a team-high 155 assists.

Kentucky's John Wall was named SEC Player of the Year, while teammate DeMarcus Cousins was selected Freshman of the Year. Vanderbilt's Kevin Stallings was named SEC Coach of the Year.
