Monday's College Football Playoff national title game is a rematch ... but only kind of.

The teams, as I wrote today, are very different. Just ask Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson.

"Last year is last year," Watson said. "You can't go based off last year. They have maybe - I want to say seven new starters, eight new starters on this defense, and everyone else is in the NFL...

"You can't live on last year's success. You've got to keep moving forward and see what's going on this year."

So what is going on, from Watson's perspective? He sees, obviously, a very good defense.

"They have some good guys that are very knowledgeable of the game and put in the work," Watson said. "And they just win their matchups."

We'll see if they can win those matchups again Monday at Raymond James Stadium.
