College Football Playoff rankings: Alabama is No. 1, FSU moves up and Gators move out
Alabama remains atop the second set of the College Football Playoff selection committee's weekly rankings, which were unveiled Tuesday night.
Clemson is second, followed by Michigan and Washington - all undefeated teams from Power Five conferences.
Ohio State is the first one out, followed by Louisville and Wisconsin.
The top four teams will compete in the semifinals, with the winners advancing to the Jan. 9 national title game at Raymond James Stadium.
Florida State rose four spots, to No. 18. The Gators fell from No. 11 to out of the rankings after its 31-10 loss at Arkansas.
LSU, interestingly, dropped 11 spots to No. 24 after its 10-0 loss to the Crimson Tide.
