Florida offensive coordinator Steve Addazio was officially introduced as the new head coach at Temple University today.
The Connecticut native returns to the northeast where he has coached and has recruited extensively during his 25-year coaching career.

at Temple University. I will give everything I have to make Philadelphia and the University community proud.”
Addazio, 51, spent the past six seasons at the Florida under head coach Urban Meyer, serving as associate head coach and offensive coordinator in 2010. He was under constant scrutiny this season because of the Gators' struggling offense, but Temple apparently sees something Gator fans did not.
“This is truly a great day for Temple Football as Steve Addazio is the perfect coach to take the program to the next level,” Temple University Director of Athletics Bill Bradshaw said in a statement. “Steve brings a wealth of experience with some of the nation’s best programs. As one of the top recruiters in the country, Steve will be able to bring talented players to Temple, and with his vision and passion for the game, he will be able to lead them to success on the field.''
Addazio is expected to
