Amanda Butler hopes loss to UT is valuable lesson for Gator women's basketball team
Florida fell just short of defeating storied Tennessee at the O'Connell Center on Sunday in a 78-75 loss in overtime.
But Gators coach Amanda Butler said the loss can be a huge confidence-builder for a team filled with six freshmen, and she hopes the Florida players will use it as a learning experience as the team goes forward.
The Gators are off this week, and return to the court on Sunday when they host South Carolina at 1 p.m.
