Desipte strong running games, CBS' Gary Danielson says Gators-Gamecocks will hinge on passing

Florida and South Carolina enter today's game with two of the best rushing offenses in the SEC, but the winner will be determined more by the passing game, CBS analyst Gary Danielson said.

"Even though both of these teams want to run the ball and are hanging their hat on running the ball, the team that throws it the best this week is going to win,'' Danielson said.  "I don’t think either side is going to have enough run game to win.  Florida has thrown the ball for less than 100 yards the last two games. I don’t think they can beat South Carolina with that type of one-way football.''

Danielson said he also believes special teams could play a huge factor. The battle to watch is South Carolina return specialist Ace Sanders vs. Florida punter Kyle Christy.

"The wildcard in this game is Ace Sanders,'' Danielson said. "He has really turned the tables for South Carolina when they’ve won. Florida punts the ball extremely well.  They cover punts extremely well.  Florida cannot let Sanders beat them."
