Dustin Doe returns to practice

Florinda linebacker Dustin Doe is back practicing with the team, but has not been fully reinstated.

Doe was in full pads as the team left the field today, its final preseason practice of 2009. UF coach Urban Meyer said his status with the team is still under review.

"He's practicing,'' Meyer said Saturday morning. "His status, I'll announce sometime next week.''

Doe had been suspended since July.

He was arrested in July for driving with a suspended license, and on Aug. 20 was found guilty of two misdemeanor traffic violations - driving with a suspended license and driving with no valid drivers license. He will serve a mandatory 24 hours on the county's work crew as part of his punishment, and Meyer said last week he most likely will be suspended from at least one game.
