GAINESVILLE - Cole Figueroa's play this summer in the Cape Cod League has been impressive enough to earn him a starting position in the All-Star game this weekend.

The Tallahassee native will start at second base for the East squad. Figueroa leads the Harwich Mariners with a .306 batting average, has 15 walks and is tied for third in RBI (11), runs scored (11) and doubles (five).  Figueroa was a member of the SEC All-Freshman team this past season.

The All-Star game will be held Saturday, July 28, at Spillane Field in Wareham, Mass.
