Florida athletics make gains in NCAA Academic Progress Report
Based on the latest multi-year Academic Progress Report data released by the NCAA on Wednesday, Florida has no sports programs below the minimum required, and will not face any sanctions due to APR failure. The report is based on data for each sport from 2004-05 through the 2007-08 academic year.
All 18 of the Gators' sports programs scored above the minimum 925 score required to avoid sanctions and possible loss of scholarships.
Florida improved its APR score in every men's sport but one; men's outdoor track had a 939 score in 2008 and a 937 this year.
