Florida Gator Sharrif Floyd named SEC Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week



Florida junior Sharrif Floyd has been named the SEC Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week, the SEC announced today.

Floyd had five tackles, all solo in Saturday's 14-7 win over Missouri. He also had a team-high three tackles for loss and one quarterback pressure.

Floyd is currently tied for 48th in the nation with 10 tackles for loss, which also leads the Gator team. He has 35 tackles this season and one blocked field goal.

Floyd shared the SEC honor with Arkansas DE Chris Smith, who had eight tackles and a fumble recovery in a 19-15 win over Tulsa.
