Florida sprinter Jeff Demps has been added to the 2012 U.S. Track & Field Olympic team, U.S. Track & Field officials said Tuesday.

Demps will be a member of the 4x100-meter relay pool. He is a replacement for Mike Rodgers, who suffered a stress fracture in his left foot.

With Demps' addition to the roster, Florida has 37 letterwinners competing in the 2012 Olympics - an all-time high for the Gators in a single Olympics.
