Florida Gators' DE Chris Martin is leaving the program
Gator defensive end Chris Martin has decided to transfer, Florida coach Will Muschamp announced Friday.
Martin, a 6-foot-4, 250-pound redshirt freshman from Grandview High School in Colorado, transferred to UF from California in July 2010 and redshirted this past season.
“Chris and his family have indicated that it might be best for him to be closer to home,” Muschamp said in a statement. “We wish him nothing but the best of luck.”
