Florida Gators finish No. 4 in final AP, Coaches polls; will play Louisville in Sugar Bowl

Last year this time, the Florida Gators were 6-6 and just hoping to be getting an invitation to a bowl game - any bowl game.

Tonight, Florida's improbable turnaround season has resulted in the Gators being ranked No. 4 in the final Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls, released today.

The Gators will play Louisville (10-2) in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2. It will be the Gators first appearance in a BCS bowl game since the 2009-10 season - a 51-24 victory over Cincinnati.

The BCS bowl announcements will be televised live on ESPN at 8:30 p.m.

Florida will face a familiar face in Louisville - former Gator defensive coordinator Charlie Strong who is in his third season as head coach at Louisville.

Here is the final USA Today Coaches Poll and how the coaches voted.
