Florida senior forward Chandler Parsons may be able to play in Thursday night's game against Georgia, but it's unlikely he will start.

Parsons is still recovering from a deep thigh bruise he suffered nearly two weeks ago against Tennessee. He did not practice last week, and missed Sunday's game at LSU.

"I think we've made some positive progress,'' UF coach Billy Donovan said. "Yesterday we were able to work him out individually. He felt much better, probably the best he has felt in some time."

Donovan said he would further evaluate the situation following today's practice.

"If that goes well, I don’t anticipate him starting tomorrow, but I would anticipate playing him if things went well today in practice and he feels good,'' he said. "But he has made some good strides and made some positive progress.”
