Florida hosts Georgia tonight in pivotal SEC game

Florida returns home tonight to host the Georgia Bulldogs at the O'Connell Center.

Tipoff is 7 p.m., and the game can be seen live nationally on ESPN.

The good news for the Gators is they are back at home where they are going for their 15th consecutive home win. The road hasn’t been kind this season (0-4) and Florida is hoping to rebound from a double digit loss to Tennessee. Florida is trying to keep from falling to 0-2 early in the conference season.

The Gators have owned this series of late, having won 14 of the last 16 meetings. All five Florida starters continue to average in double figures led by Kenny Boynton’s 19.1 points. Georgia had been on a five-game winning streak before losing its SEC opener to Alabama.

The duo of freshman Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and senior Gerald Robinson are averaging 14.6 and 13.6 points per game for the Bulldogs.

Listen to Florida coach Billy Donovan break down the Bulldogs and what the Gators will face tonight.
