Florida men's track and field begins quest for second consecutive SEC title



The No. 2 Florida men's Track and Field team will begin its quest for a second consecutive SEC Indoor Championship today when the SEC Track and Field Championships begin in Lexington, Ky.

The No. Florida women are trying to earn their second title in three years. The three-day event begins today at 2:30 p.m.

The Gators return seven SEC Indoor Champions from last season, including junior sprinter Jeff Demps, (60m), senior multi-event athlete Gray Horn  (heptathlon), sophomore hurdler Eddie Lovett (60mH), junior sprinter Tony McQuay (200m), senior thrower Kemal Mesic (shot put), senior thrower Fidela James (weight throw) and sophomore distance runner Cory McGee (mile). will stream live the events on Saturday, from 2:05-7:30 p.m., and Sunday, from 1:25-5 p.m.
