Florida receiver Carl Moore remains absent from practice



Carlmoore The mystery surrounding Florida receiver Carl Moore continues as he remained absent from practice for a second day.

The redshirt senior abruptly left practice before it ended on Saturday and did not practice on Monday. Following Monday's practice UF receivers coach Zach Azzanni said he did not know why Moore was absent.

On Wednesday, UF offensive coordinator Steve Addazio said it was due to personal issues.

"He's just working on some personal things right now,'' Addazio said.

When asked if Moore would return this spring, Addazio responded: "I'm just telling you what I know right now is he's just working on some personal
business right now. That's all.''

Moore, a junior college transfer who was rated the No. 2 JUCO player by, had 14 receptions for 184 yards and one touchdown for the Gators in 2008, but missed all of last season with a back injury.
