South Carolina scored just three points until the final play of the game when senior kicker Adam Yates connected on a career-long 51 yard field goal to close the half.
Florida has struggled offensively, amassing just 13 rushing yards. The Gators have just two first downs in the entire first half.
Along with struggling offensively, the Gators have killed themselves with penalties - 5 for 64 yards.
One penalty negated a touchdown and the others led to South Carolina's field goals.
