Florida's Chandler Parsons, Erving Walker named to NABC All-District Team



Florida senior forward Chandler Parsons and junior guard Erving Walker have been named National Association of Basketball
Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District selections. Parsons earned District 21 First-Team honors, while Walker received Second-Team

Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, the 245 student-athletes from 24 districts are eligible for the State Farm Coaches’ Division I All-America teams, to be announced on Saturday, April 2, at 9:30 a.m., during Final Four activities in Houston.

Parsons was selected to the team one day after he became the first Florida player to win SEC Player of the Year honors. He is averaging 11.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game. Walker led the Gators in scoring at 14.5 points per game. 

Parsons said today he couldn't have imagined all the accolades three years ago and thanked his coaches and teammates for helping him get where he is.
