Florida's NCAA fortunes include seeding and a good bracket draw, at least by one theory
Whether Florida deserved a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament remains a topic of debate, but that may not be the only thing working in the Gators' favor for a strong showing in the field of 68.
Based on a theory that includes using Ken Pomeroy's ratings instead of just the RPI, Nate Silver of the NYT's FiveThirtyEight reasons that the Gators are a higher seed than they should be, but also have one of the easier roads in the NCAA Tournament.
