Former Countryside OL Tyler Moore chooses Gators

Former Countryside High offensive lineman Tyler Moore, who was scheduled to become the starting left tackle at Nebraska before he abruptly left in August,  will transfer from Nebraska to Florida, his father Brian Moore told Bob Putnam of the Tampa Bay Times.

Moore's father is a 1985 graduate of Nebraska who played tight end for the Cornhuskers, but his son decided to take a sabbatical from the school in mid-August. At the time, Nebraska coach Bo Pelini said Moore was welcome to return.

His father told the Tampa Bay Times at the time that his son was not happy, planned to come home and get his head straight, and take the semester off to decide where he would attend school.

His father said today that his son had chosen the Gators over Florida State. Moore is currently attending classes at St. Petersburg College.
