Former Gator assistant coach Dan McCarney recovering from stroke
Former Florida defensive line assistant coach Dan McCarney remains hospitalized in a Texas recovering from a stroke he suffered over the weekend.
McCarney, 58, left the Gators in 2011 after three seasons to become the head coach at North Texas. McCarney was head coach at Iowa State from 1995-2006.
