Former Gator John Brantley cut by Baltimore Ravens

Former Florida QB John Brantley has been cut by the Balitmore Ravens.

According to staff writer Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times, Brantley was cut to create a roster spot for TE Billy Bajema. The Ravens acquired the former St. Louis Rams player after TE Dennis Pitta was lost for the preseason with a broken right hand.

Brantley was an undrafted rookie competing with Chester Stewart, Tyrod Taylor and Curtis Painter for a spot on the roster.
