Former SEC pitchers take center stage in critical MLB games tonight

The SEC is on full display today in Major League Baseball, including several teams that are fighting for playoff spots in the final regular season games of the season.

Tonight's matchup between the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies will have an All-SEC starting pitching lineup: Braves starter Tim Hudson (Auburn) and Phillies' starter Joe Blanton (Kentucky).

Tampa Bay Rays starter David Price, who will take the mound in a must-win game against the Yankees,  is a former Vanderbilt star.

Other SEC starters today include Colorado's Drew Pomeranz (Mississippi) and the Padres' Wade LeBlanc (Alabama).
