Florida has the tough task of being the first SEC opponent for a Texas A&M program that has been eagerly anticipating their debut in the SEC, but the Gators will have some support in the hostile confines of Kyle Field.

Several thousand Florida fans have are in College Station, TX for today's game - the first league game for the Aggies.

Among those fans are Steve Tubbs, Gary Hogrefe, Ted Fitzgeorge, Bill Turner and Anson Phetteplace - Florida grads and close friends from Ft. Myers, who have wanted to attend a game at Texas A&M for awhile, and didn't let this history-making opportunity pass

"It’s extremely special for us because we’re all college football junkies and  we have always wanted to be part of the 12th man experience at Kyle Field,'' Turner said. "We’re college football junkies and when you see it on TV, you think that would be really, really cool, just like Touchdown Jesus at Notre Dame, you want to go see and do that. So now that they are part of the SEC, it give us the opportunity to do so.''

Turner and his friends were all seen walking the street in College Station in full Gator gear, but several said they are concerned about the Gators in today's game.

"I don’t feel very good about it (Florida's chances),'' Turner said. "I just don’t think we’ve fixed our offensive problems at all.''
