Gator gymnast picks up third SEC weekly honor
It is the third consecutive week Dickerson has earned the award.
Dickerson had two collegiate-best marks last Friday in Florida’s 196.725-195.05 win over then No. 13 LSU. She was among the top three finishers in four of the five events Friday which includes setting her collegiate-best of 9.925 to share the evening’s floor exercise title with teammate Maranda Smith. She was runner-up to LSU’s Susan Jackson, the nation’s top ranked all-arounder, with her total of 39.45. Dickerson matched her vault best of 9.925 to take second. She also shared third at 9.775 on the balance beam.
Dickerson leads UF this season with seven event titles, which is the most by a Gator freshman since former All-American Melissa Miller turned in six through her first four meets in 1986.
