Gators to be without Scottie Wilbekin tonight



Florida will open the 2011 season with an exhibition game against Catholic University tonight, but sophomore guard Scottie Wilbekin won't play tonight.

Wilbekin has a broken index finger, and while coach Billy Donovan said it's possible he could play tonight if necessary, he's holding him out since it's just an exhibition game.

The Gators have battled several injuries during the preseason. Freshman G Bradley Beal missed about 10 days with a foot problem and junior G Mike Rosario has missed several days ealing with some back and other injuries, Donovan said.

Although tonight's game is an exhbition, there are some specific things Donovan will be looking for from his team. Listen to him talk about the starting linenup and what he hopes to get from tonight's game:
