Gators earn 38-0 shutout of Kentucky

With a balanced offensive attack of 200 rushing and 203 total passing yards, Florida earned a 38-0 victory over Kentucky Saturday afternoon at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville.

The Gators are now 4-0 for the third consecutive season and will have a bye next week before hosting No. 2 LSU on Oct. 6.

Gators sophoore QB Jeff Driskel was 18-of-27 for 203 yards and one touchdown. He threw passes to nine different receivers.

"We're 4-0, got an opportunity to be 5-0 and that's what you're looking for,'' UF coach Will Muschamp said, adding the Gators have plenty of room for improvement.

Junior RB/WR Trey Burton did not play on Saturday because of back spasms that began on Friday evening, Muschamp said.
