Gators fail to impress SEC coaches based on preseason All-SEC teams



The SEC Coaches Preseason All-SEC Team was released today and Florida has no players on the first-team offense or on first or second-team defense.

The Gators have one player on the second-team offense and three on third-team defense. Florida  has a total of six selections, including specialists.

Florida senior RB Jeff Demps is a preseason second-team selection. Junior LB Jon Bostic and sophomore LB Jelani Jenkins are third-team defense selections.

R-Jr. place kicker Caleb Sturgis, who missed the majority of last season with a back injury, is a second-team selection. R-So. Andre Debose  and sophomore Trey Burton landed on the third-team specialists team.

Arkansas led the league with 14 Preseason All-Conference selections, followed by Alabama with 13. Georgia and South Carolina each had nine.
