Gators land 10 in Top 100



The Gators continue to gain momentum toward finishing with the nation's No. 1 recruiting class, one which includes a unanimous No. 1 player. has released its final rankings for the 2010 class and Florida has 10 commitments among the Top 100 players - including No. 1 Ronald Powell.

The Moreno Valley Rancho Verde DE earned rivals' No. 1 ranking on the final list, released today. The Gaotrs have four commitments in the Top 30.

The Gators also have 15 commitments on the final ESPNU 150. including two of the top three prospects in the country - Powell and No. 3 Dominique Easley (Staten Island, N.Y./Curtis).

Although Powell orally committed during last weekend's U.S. Army All-American game in St. Petersburg, expect new USC coach Lane Kiffin and ace recruiter Ed Orgeron to make a serious run at him before national signing day on Feb. 3.

Here are the Florida commitments in the final Top 100:

77. Chris Dunkley (5-10, 164, WR, Pahokee)

81. Gerald Christian (6-3, 220, TE, Palm Beach Dwyer)

95. Leon Orr (6-4, 300, DT, Newport Richey Gulf)
