Gators lose another strength coach, this time to Kansas



Florida Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning Scott Holsopple has been hired to be the new Director of Strength and Conditioning at Kansas. Holsopple will join former UF offensive coordinator Charlie Weis, who left the Gators last month to become the head coach at Kansas.

Holsopple was at UF for five seasons working directly under Mickey Marotti, who left to join Urban Meyer's staff as Director of Strength and Conditioning at Ohio State. Holsopple has also worked at Kentucky and Marquette.

On Wednesday morning, Holsopple sent the folowing Tweet: "I want to thank all the football players at Florida. You are the guys I cared about, loved and went to battle with. Alwayshereforu Sop''
