Gators' Will Yeguete medically cleared to practice, still questionable for Arkansas
Florida sophomore F Will Yeguete has passed his concussion tests and has been cleared to practice today, coach Billy Donovan said. Yeguete suffered a concussion this past Saturday in a game against Tennessee.
"Right now he's cleared to practice today,'' Donovan said Friday afternoon. "He has passed all the tests to be able to practice. Yesterday he did a treadmill work out, did an individual workout, no contact he didn't do anything in practice. "
Whether Yeguete will play on Saturday at Arkansas remains to be seen.
"He's not cleared to play yet, a lot of it is going to depend on practice,'' Donovan said. "So after practice is over with, we travel, how he feels tonight and tomorrow morning is going to have a large impact on whether or not we can play him. If he continues on this path he could be okay. But he's still not cleared. I trust our medical staff. I trust our trainers.''
