His battle with mono now over, Florida center Patric Young ready for new season

Patric Young has spent the past several weeks battling mononucleosis, but this week the Gators' starting center said he's finally feeling healthy again and ready to take on his junior season.

Young said he's placed an emphasis on strength and conditioning in the hopes of being able to play more minutes this season. Last year he averaged about 26; he'd like to increase that to 32.

Florida coach Billy Donovan said even after missing cricital practice time, Young pass this week's conditioning drills, which is a good sign he's in better physical condition than previous years.

Hear from Young on his illness and hopes for the upcoming season.
