Florida junior RB Jeff Demps is no longer wearing a protective boot on his sprained foot and is listed as probable for Saturday night's game at Alabama.

"He's out of the boot today,'' UF coach Urban Meyer said Wednesday morning. "He'll have very limited practice, but we're counting on him Thursday, and even Friday with him in practice. So I'd say it's probable he'll play.

Demps suffered the injury when he stepped on the foot of one of his teammates in the Tennessee game. The injury worsened in last Saturday's game against Kentucky.
