LSU searching for ways to eliminate mistakes entering Florida game

As No. 4 LSU heads into this weekend's SEC showdown with No. 10 Florida, the Tigers are working hard to eliminate mistakes and penalties that have plagued the team.

LSU leads the SEC with 42 penalties. In this past Saturday's win over Towson, LSU had 10 penalties, five fumbles, four sacks and three turnovers.

"Offensively, the uncharacteristic turnovers, I'm glad tey are getting them out of the way early as much as I hate to see them, because we can't afford that as we go forward,'' LSU coach Les Miles said. "On a team that we coach ball security aggressively, it will continue again (Monday), and Tuesday and Wednesday and right through (the week). I can't imagine that won't get addressed well and fixed.''
