Meyer's greatest challenge? Keeping his team together
With its hopes of making it to the SEC Championship game now gone, Florida must find a way to regroup and try to salvage the remainder of this season.
The Gators will host Appalachian State this week, then close out the regular season in Tallahassee against Florida State.
A somber Florida coach Urban Meyer said after the game that his sole goal is to make sure this team doesn't fall apart.
"We're in uncharted waters right now,'' he said. "My whole focus is making sure this team sticks together.''
Freshman Andre Debose described a somber postgame locker room, but said the Gators were committed to making sure Florida's seniors go out the right way.
"To help the seniors leave in a good way, that's the motivation now,'' Debose said.
