As the season opens tonight, Donovan says key is remembering to take it in stride

Florida opens the 2010 men's basketball season tonight at with its highest preseason ranking since 2007 and returning five starters.

The Gators are hoping veteran leadership will be a key ingredient for success this season.

Florida has won 19 consecutive season openers, including 14-0 under Billy Donovan – who is entering his 15th season as the Gators’ head coach. But Donovan said it's critical, particularly with five freshman joining the team, that the players realize it's a long season and they have to approach it that way. With solid preparation every day and not looking too far ahead.

Donovan discusses the season and tonight's opponent, UNC Wilmington.
